Kitagawa NorthTech (Schaumburg, Illinois) has moved its website from kitagawa.com to kitagawa.us. Its parent company, Kitagawa Iron Works (Japan), will assume the use of the “.com” domain for a global website later this year. The decision is intended to align and clarify product offerings from Kitagawa companies and entities in their appropriate regions. The company believes this will help it to better serve customers’ local product and service requirements.
On the occasion of the move to the new domain, the company has also redesigned its website to provide North American customers with information on its products and services. According to Kevin Bennett, VP of sales and marketing, “The new kitagawa.us website is not only a refresh of our brand and product content, but it more accurately presents the breadth of our workholding offerings, services and capabilities for our customers in North America.”
