Mitsubishi Electric Automation (Vernon Hills, Illinois) has authorized Knoxville, Tennessee-based Bertelkamp Automation as a Mitsubishi Electric Certified Training Center (CTC). According to MEAU, the agreement makes Bertelkamp’s training center the first in the Southeastern United States providing Mitsubishi Electric university-based training for its PLCs, HMIs, variable frequency drives and robots. The CTC was established in response to a demand for more accessible training in the region. MEAU will provide Bertelkamp with its university curriculum and training for instructors.
