NRTC Automation, a brand of NRTC Alabama Inc., has developed , an online marketplace intended to give industrial facilities the ability to efficiently automate their production lines. The e-commerce website enables users to find and purchase reconditioned robots, manufacturing equipment and robot parts from featured brands including ABB, FANUC, Kuka and Yaskawa. Robots offered in the iGAM marketplace undergo an inspection and testing that includes cleaning, removing processing equipment, clearing past programming, testing axes and confirming power up.
NRTC Alabama CEO Greg Owens says, “iGAM is disrupting the supply chain for robots and manufacturing equipment by adding the convenience of an e-commerce portal to help manufacturers access the power of artificial intelligence and automation.”
The website is said to eliminate the time waiting for quotes from suppliers, since iGAM’s entire inventory is available on one platform and ready for immediate purchase. That inventory is said to include robots as well as robot parts, battery chargers, circuit protection, inverters and servomotors.
