SMTCL-Americas Partners with California State Polytechnic University

The machine tool builder will provide equipment and internships for Cal Poly students.

SMTCL-Americas (City of Industry, California) has entered an agreement to provide equipment to the California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, California, for the creation of a student machine lab. The lab will be used by engineering students to manufacture components for class projects and competitions. The agreement also includes a commitment from SMTCL to hire a university student as an intern each year, with the possibility of converting some of these students to full-time employees upon graduation.
