Sodick Inc. has broken ground on the site of its new 40,000-square-foot headquarters facility. Sodick staff were joined by representatives from the Village of Schaumburg as well as Northern Builders construction. The new facility is located on a 5-acre lot adjacent to I-90, nearby Sodick’s current Schaumburg office.
The new headquarters will double the size of Sodick’s current facilities and will better accommodate its increased sales volume, the company says. In addition, the facility will feature an expanded showroom, engineering bay, as well as a dedicated additive manufacturing technology center to house Sodick’s OPM line of metal 3D Printers.
