Cincinnati, Ohio-based manufacturing consultancy TechSolve has announced the appointment of David R. Linger to company president. Mr. Linger succeeds Gary Conley, who was president and CEO for more than 20 years before announcing his retirement May 2016.
“David is uniquely qualified to serve as TechSolve’s next president,” says Mr. Conley. “He has more than 25 years of manufacturing experience across a broad spectrum of companies and has a real passion for Southern Ohio’s manufacturing heritage. His manufacturing and business experience, technical expertise and educational background will prove to be of great value to TechSolve.”
In addition to the multiple positions he held in the manufacturing space, Mr. Linger also served as president of the University of Cincinnati Research Institute during its startup period and first three years of operation.
Mr. Linger says, “With my past affiliations with UCRI and GE, I am no stranger to TechSolve’s mission and I certainly recognize the crucial roles we play as a manufacturing center of excellence in advanced machining and digital manufacturing, as a Lean healthcare consultancy, and as an Ohio Manufacturing Extension Partnership Affiliate.”
