This new amplifying nozzle design forces the air through a 0.002" annular orifice, which accelerates airflow and entrains surrounding air as it exits the nozzle. Since airflow volumes out of the nozzles are up to 25 times more than the compressed air supplied, less input compressed air is needed to do the same work, according to the company. These nozzles also are said toÌýprovide a reduction in noise and often help meet OSHA noise specifications and dead-end pressure requirements, the company says.Ìý
A variety of low- and high-thrust models are offered, including nozzles mounted on tubing and positionable hoses as well as adjustable flow models that are easily disassembled for cleaning.
