LNS America’s GT 326-E automatic magazine bar feeder for sliding headstock machines loads 12-ft.-long barstock in diameters ranging from 3 to 20 mm (26 mm with bar prep). A two-position, automatic, hydrostatic front stabilizer with V-shaped guiding elements dampens residual vibration between the front of the bar feeder and the back of the spindle. High-speed headstock synchronization system directly connected to the servodrive eliminates transmission delay for perfect synchronization between the pusher and headstock, the company says. The machine includes a high-capacity, 10.6" deep magazine tray for unattended, lights-out production. The bar feeder enables one-minute setup with automatic adjustment of pushing torque, forward speed and feeding length by entering shape, diameter and feed-out length into the user-friendly HMI.
