3D Systems has launched its GibbsCAM 12 software for production manufacturing in multi-task machining (MTM), mill-turn and production manufacturing. The software is said to be able to increase productivity by 30 percent over previous versions, and its postprocessing capabilities provide quality code. Its user interface enables fast, efficient programming.
Customers have access to more than 15,000 postprocessors along with ongoing additions and custom postprocessors, providing postprocessors for virtually every machine and control combination on the market, the company says. The MTM option delivers programming capabilities for the complex MTM and Swiss-style machines, including attachments such as part catchers, vises, tailstocks and robots. In addition, Universal Kinematic Machining technology provides users with flexibility and configurability for machines with multiple spindles and axes. Its single interface programs all CNCs.
Video training and curriculum are available, so users can get the most out of their software.
