The Loc-Jaw system from Mitee-Bite is designed for use in four- and five-axis machining. It has a clamping range of 0.5" to 4.0" and is capable of penetrating 0.060" deep per gripper while producing more than 6,000 lbs of holding force. The rails and gripper towers are serrated for a solid, easily adjustable base. The low-profile grippers hold on 0.100", enabling full access to all work surfaces, including the bottom face. A centering disk can be mounted to the bottom of the base for quick location on faceplates with the centering hole feature. The base is also configured with two drill bushings for precise locating using the included diamond and tapered pins.
