Featuring a triple-turret design, the ST-38 CNC Swiss-type automatic lathe is suited for machining medical, automotive and aviation industry components. The lathe can machine extra large parts (38 mm in diameter) with high speed and universal control. The simultaneous machining achieved by opposed twin-turret design tool post is said to reduce machining time and independent machining. Two front side turrets and one rear side turret—each with ten stations—reduces the cycle time even more. The machine is equipped with the Star Motion Control System enabling higher accuracy and easier operability, the company says.
