Dassault Systemes’ Solidworks 2015 version includes simplified geometry creation tools, faster simulation analysis and an updated graphical interface, all said to enable users to design more efficiently. According to the company, the software enables design to be better integrated with downstream processes, with enhanced cost analysis, simplified inspection documentation and improved communication. Users can easily share data and collaborate on projects to help improve design productivity, the company says. Support for more engineering tasks and industries has also been added.
