Entegris/Poco Materials Will Offer Virtual EDM Training

Entegris/Poco Materials will showcase its EDM technical training in booth 1227 at . The company has announced that it will begin to offer virtual EDM technical training in the fourth quarter of 2021, in addition to the in-person training that is expected to resume at the Decatur, Texas site in 2022. Interested parties will have the option of doing the training in-person or virtually.
The virtual version of the EDM technical training consists of six modules presented by Robert Fothergill and Marc Sanders, both EDM application specialists. Each module runs between 60 and 90 minutes and contains presentations, videos and Q&A sessions. Those interested will be able to register on the company’s website, and once registered they will be able to download one module at a time to take the training. Each module is followed by a quiz on the presented content, which must be passed in order to download the next module. A certificate of completion will be awarded once a final exam is passed at the end of the series.
The company says this training is the fundamental foundation to sinker EDM and provides the base knowledge necessary to further understand the EDM process. The training reportedly answers tough questions that give users better control of the EDM process and achieve predictable results.
