Heller Machine Tools will exhibit several five-axis machine models with C-axis head available in several machine models. According to the company, the machine’s Power Cutting Universal swivel head unit enables system availability to be above 90 percent without restrictions in terms of chip removal rate. The machining unit is equipped with an HSK63 spindle taper, 44 kW power and 242 Nm torque. The power provided by the machine is said to be available at any spatial angle.
The company says many machine models are designed to eliminate the influence of temperature curves using absolute-encoded, direct-measuring systems; high-resolution rotary encoders; and YRT bearings with integrated measuring system.
