Acra Machinery’s FEL-2600 series CNC lathes feature rugged Meehanite castings with thick, widely-spaced cross supports and induction-hardened ground ways to provide maximum accuracy and rigidity. The versatile flat-bed lathes are available in five different models with X-axis travels ranging from 18" to 21.5" and Z-axis travels ranging from 40" to 160". Swing over the bed is 26". Precision-ground oversized ballscrews are driven by AC digital servomotors. The 4.72"-bore spindle provides speeds ranging from 6 to 2,000 rpm with 30 hp. Spindle bores of 6.6" and 7.1" are also available. The lathes are equipped with a FANUC OT control, and accessories include a high-powered coolant system and coolant pan; vertical octagon servo turret; hydraulic tailstock; MT 5 moving center; and steady rest/roller.
