Denso Robotics offers a range of high speed, four-axis Scara robots as well as five- and six-axis articulated robots. These robots can accommodate workloads as heavy as 20 kg, and they offer reaches from 350 to 1,300 mm. Repeatability is to within ±0.015 mm. Standard, dust- and mist-proof and clean-room models are available.
The space-saving design, along with concealed electrical wiring and air lines, reduces interference with surrounding equipment and facilitates integration, the company says. A high maximum moment of inertia permits an increased choice of end effectors and a broad range of applications.
Programming software, controllers and teaching pendants are also available. This includes 3D-simulation software, which allows off-line programming and remote monitoring of robot operations.
