Custom Service Solutions’ new hands-free MiJet parts cleaning and collection model uses a foot pedal to direct airflow from a fixed nozzle and turn on the suction fan. A hand-held nozzle is included for additional flexibility. The model uses an existing shop air line and can be incorporated into a work cell since no electricity is required. Air is driven out of a nozzle while vacuum suction simultaneously pulls coolant into the container. Exhausted air is filtered to improve air quality, reduce aerosol and maintain cleaner floors. Coolants are captured for reuse and metal chips can be recycled. The collection device can be used at an inspection station to clean oily parts prior to inspection.
