MC Machinery Systems offers the MWX4-612 waterjet cutting machine designed for accuracy and reliability. The waterjet features a new taper control servomotor-driven system with a larger A axis tilt angle and unlimited rotating-angle C axis for straighter parts in thicker material.
Travels measure 72" × 114" × 8" (1,829 × 3,658 × 200 mm), and the machine accommodates workpieces ranging to 82" × 153" × 8" (2,083 × 3,886 × 200 mm) in size. Positioning speed is 687 ipm (22.022 m/min.). The machine features a pressurized abrasive hopper with a 670-lb capacity. The adjustable slat table is located by slots and the height is adjusted by the indicated flat bar. It also is equipped with a 60-hp, 90,000-psi pump. A 125-hp, 125,000-psi pump is available as an option.
The system features Mitsubishi’s M730 CNC controller with three-axis joystick positioning, a full keyboard and a standard garnet-removal system. Metamation software is included with true-shape nesting and CAD/CAM with a submerged cutting system built into the tank’s design.
