Average positioning accuracy is 2 microns in the X axis, 1.3 microns in the Y axis and 1.5 microns in the Z axis. Repeatable positioning accuracy is 0.87 microns in X, 0.65 microns in Y and 0.73 microns in Z. The machinesÌýare accurate to 9 microns in circular-form machining.

Other features include a double-gib system to ensure high accuracy over long periods, as well as a semi-floating slideway system to constrain lost motion. The company’s Thermal Stabilizer technology is said to reduce deformation by 50 percent. The machines also include the company’s core-cooled spindle and under-race lubrication. They come standard with 60-tool magazines, and 120- or 240-tool magazines are available as options. Maximum tool length is 800 mm at a weight of 30 kg.
