Delcam will showcase its Electrode, a complete solution for design, machining and inspection of EDM electrodes. The program combines Delcam’s PowerShape CAD software, PowerMill CAM system and PowerInspect inspection software. Electrode uses the new .Trode file format which contains all the information for each electrode project, including the electrode design, machining and inspection information, and set-up sheets for its manufacture and use. The format is designed to simplify data management and increase overall efficiency by packaging all the required information into a single file.
The company will also highlight its scripts for automating the programming of EDMs.
