Interchangeable among any style ER collet chuck, the compact, adjustment-free offset rotary broach toolholder will thread onto existing ER (16, 20, 25 and 32) collet chucks and features a built-in 1-degree wobble cutting edge for offset rotary broaching.
The broaching holder allows the user to swap one holder among different style shanks such as round, Capto, VDI, Morse, CAT and NMTB taper. A single holder reduces the need for toolholder adapter bushings, making it an economical and versatile alternative to other broaching systems. The holders use Somma Swiss broaches with 8-mm diameter shanks and 1/2” diameter shank broaches (Somma and other brands). They are adjustment-free for on-center applications not requiring offset compensation.
