Trotec will showcase its SpeedMarker 700 galvo laser workstation for metals and plastics. The medium-size laser has a maximum marking area of 12.2" × 12.2" and provides marking speeds ranging to 900 cps. Equipped with F-theta lenses, the SpeedMarker 700’s depth of focus enables it to produce precise markings on curved surfaces, the company says. Several configuration options enable integration with an existing workflow and customization to meet unique application needs. Other time-saving features include an automatic door for efficient part handling, software-controlled axes, a pilot laser for border marking and a rotary table.
The included SpeedMark software features a customizable user interface and a broad range of capabilities, including automatic, sequential bar code generation; data integration from ERP systems; dynamic data processing; a parameter finder for new applications and materials; and a deep engraving function.
