Leaders-In background

The Unisig UNE6 is a compact gundrilling machine for drilling deep holes with smaller diameters. The machine features cast iron headstock and chip box components, cartridge spindles with high-quality bearings and a high-precision preloaded ballscrew feed. The  counter rotating workpiece headstock specifically designed for small parts is said to enhance concentricity. Holes with diameters as small as 0.039" (1 mm) with diameter-to-depth ratios beyond 100 to 1 are possible. The grundrilling machine is well suited for medical components such as bone screws and surgical instruments that require the precision drilling of small-diameter deep holes into high strength titanium or surgical-grade stainless steel.
