Denso says its VS and VM series of six-axis articulated robots are useful for machine tending as well as secondary material-handling operations including polishing, washing, measurement and inspection. The concealed electrical wiring and air lines, as well as the robots’ ability to tuck themselves into tight, space-saving postures, reduces interference with surrounding equipment and facilitates integration. In addition, the robots can be mounted either upright or inverted without the need for special tooling.
Easy-to-use programming software, controllers and teaching pendants are also offered, including 3D simulation software that allows offline programming and remote monitoring of robot operations.
