3D Systems will demonstrate the ProX DMP 320 at the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) held September 12-17, 2016, at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois.
The ProX DMP 320 is designed for high-precision, high-throughput direct metal printing and introduces a new era of high-volume metal additive manufacturing, offering engineers and manufacturers reduced lead times on exceptional metal parts with greater design freedom than ever before. As part of 3D Systems’ end-to-end 3D printing solutions, this direct metal 3D printer is engineered for round-the-clock productivity in titanium, stainless steel or nickel super alloy with features like pre-set build parameters, exchangeable print modules for quick material changeover or replenishment, powder recycling, and a central server for managing print jobs, materials, settings and maintenance.
Ideal for any critical application requiring complex, chemically-pure metal parts, the ProX DMP 320 enables firms to become operationally independent, create parts and assemblies on demand, and test and update designs more frequently for improved final outcomes. Delivering metal 3D printed parts that are stronger, lighter, longer lasting and higher performing than traditionally manufactured products, the ProX DMP 320 offers predictable and repeatable quality at fast turnaround speeds, setting a new standard for productivity.
3D Systems will feature displays at two IMTS booths. North Building, Hall B, N-68 will feature the company’s wide range of design-to-manufacturing hardware and software. South Building, S-9119 will highlight 3D printing technologies.
