The Positrol Pallet System enables workholding to be changed quickly by a small robot. The design offers a quick-change solution without sacrificing rigidity, says the company. It also enables a fully automated cell, with the robot loading and unloading parts as well as making workholding changeovers to keep the line running efficiently. The system is designed to account for chip and contamination concerns while maintaining repeatability.
A variety of chuck and arbor designs are offered to enable flexibility in tailoring a workholding solution to help improve machining efficiencies and workpiece accuracies. The company provides solutions for turning, grinding, balancing, milling and gear operations.
