VerisurfX from Verisurf Software is suited for the aerospace, automotive, medical and energy industries. The software features the company’s proprietary common platform technology for managing CMMs, articulating arms, laser trackers and other measuring devices. It provides powerful capabilities for inspection, reverse engineering and reporting from a single interface, saving time and investment in multiple platforms, the company says.

The software is said to have the power and flexibility to rapidly and accurately acquire and handle data, including large point clouds, from laser scanners and other high-volume devices. The navigation system is easy to use and to customize, and the simplified learning process improves efficiency, the company says.

Features include a simplified menu structure for faster operation, an always-available feature tree for enhanced access to powerful inspection platforms and data, both real-time and offline inspection to meshes and a CAD system for model-based inspection and reverse engineering. The software also features CATIA and Unigraphics/NX native read options with GD&T Import.
