MachineWorks Software’s flagship program offers functionality for the simulation of additive and subtractive manufacturing processes performed by hybrid machining centers. In addition, the software provides analysis of the finished part and a quality check of both processes. This simulation functionality is powered by the company’s Software Development Toolkit (SDK) for CNC simulation and verification.
The Boolean algorithms that underlie MachineWorks’ core technology are optimized for robust CNC simulation. As a result, the software’s engines can perform complex geometrical calculations and demanding solid model processing quickly and accurately. MachineWorks’ method of handing solid meshes has up till now provided the 3D printing industry with automatic software solutions for processing polygons.
The company says that in terms of flexibility and customization, MachineWorks offers a variety of options, whether the operation is layer-by-layer addition or cutting material on the same stock.
