Cincinnati Incorporated offers Windows Vista-compatible versions of its laser-nesting and press-brake-bend simulation software, Laser Nesting v. 4.5X and Bend Simulation v. 4.5X. Both programs allow off-line programming and simulation to maximize machine runtime and enable right-the-first-time part processing. According to the company, the software’s advanced graphics simplify the creation of programs from CAD files.
The bending software uses OpenGL accelerators. However, because Vista does not fully support all graphic boards, the company recommends that users ensure that their hardware is compatible with the operating system before upgrading their PCs.
