WTO Inc. offers a new solution for micromachining applications.
CoolSpeed mini is a distinctive, ultra-high-speed spindle with the ability to reach rotation speeds up to 80,000 RPM. The spindle turbine is driven by coolant, cutting oil or air mist. One of the draws of the Coolspeed mini is its size. It fits in standard tool holders, enabling easy access and organization. The CoolSpeed mini is also versatile — it is compatible with any machine type.

The cutting tool shank serves as the spindle shaft, providing a dynamic run-out of 4 microns or better, according to WTO. Bearings are easily replaced by the customer, and the spindle does not require any service. In addition to all of its other features and benefits, CoolSpeed also offers a plug-n-play setup that makes installation fast and easy. This new spindle technology possesses the potential to make any machine it comes into contact with more productive.
