Ametek Creaform’s VXinspect 3D inspection software includes the tools required for first article inspection (FAI) and quality control. This software provides simple integration for contact (probing) and non-contact (scanning) measurement in a variety of manufacturing applications, including rapid part-to-CAD inspections for preproduction adjustments and production part approval to control critical part dimensions. The dimensional inspection software is designed for use in combination with the company’s HandyProbe, MetraScan 3D and HandyScan 3D portable measurement devices.
VXinspect includes the functionality required to set up a high-efficiency measurement sequence to inspect multiple parts. An intuitive interface promotes efficient inspection workflow, maintaining measurement quality and meeting geometric dimensioning and tolerancing requirements. The software is fully integrated with the company’s VXelements3D software platform and application suites.
