Supertec Machinery’s PMGII-150CNC is a turret-type multi-spindle ID/OD grinder. The PMGII-150CNC features a between-centers distance of 1,500 mm (60") and a 380-mm (15") diameter working capacity, making it one of the largest capacity turret type ID/OD grinders on the market, according to the company.
The PMGII-150CNC comes with a 20" plunge-type OD wheel, a 16" angle-head OD wheel and an optional rpm ID spindle, which enables a wide range of grinding capabilities. With a turret design having the capability of three grinders in one, the PMGII models can reduce setup time and improve overall cycle times on complicated jobs. Also combining three spindles onto one machine enables the PMGII models to minimize floor space for other requirements.
A Mitsubishi M80 control with the Supertec developed i-Grind conversational software is well suited for beginner programmers as well as experienced operators, while the optional FANUC Oi-TC control is also available for shops requiring G- and M-code programming.
