Hurco says its largest machining center, the 3-m DCX32, has the capacity to handle large parts and molds for the aerospace and energy sectors. Featuring X-, Y- and Z-axis travels of 126" × 82.7" × 36.2", the 50-taper machining center is designed for thermal stability, and the dual-column design promotes dynamic behavior, the company says. The high-grade cast iron frame is tested with both dynamic Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and static FEA to ensure rigidity.
