Twin-Table Machining Centers For Non-Stop Productivity
The TT series machining center features a twin-table design. While the tables operate on the same linear rail platform, each is controlled independently. This allows one table to machine parts within the enclosed work area while the other sits outside the enclosure for convenient loading and unloading.

The TT series machining center features a twin-table design. While the tables operate on the same linear rail platform, each is controlled independently. This allows one table to machine parts within the enclosed work area while the other sits outside the enclosure for convenient loading and unloading. Completed parts are shuttled out of the work area while the next table brings in a fresh workpiece. The result is increased spindle up-time with non-stop production.
With a cast iron bridge design, the machine uses linear ball or roller guideways with independent ballscrews and axis motors for table control. A 10,000-rpm (15,000-rpm option) inline spindle is said to further enhance cutting performance. The machine also features 1,600-ipm rapid traverse rates, high spindle speeds and a high speed, double-arm ATC that is said to reduce spindle downtime for part loading.
The machines are available in two standard sizes: The TT24 model has a 24" square work envelope and the TT40 model has a 40" square work envelope. For special applications, the TT60 and TT80 offer even larger work envelopes.
