Leveling alignment, straightness and surface flatness measurements are important factors in precision machines, image-capturing measurement and testing equipment. Without being properly and precisely leveled, a machine’s structural stability could be compromised, reducing dimensional accuracy and quality performance of outputs. Functional features of the DWL9000XY from Digi-Pas Technologies are designed to simplify this task for users in the installation, set up and maintenance of precision machines, testing and measuring instruments.
The DWL9000XY is an ultra-precision two-axis digital level and inclinometer with a built-in surface flatness profiler and vibrometer. It is a leveling, angular alignment, straightness and flatness diagnostic instrument used by R&D engineers and scientists to evaluate structural stability during the steady state or real-time, running state of alignment-sensitive equipment. Digi-Pas reports the DWL9000XY, and the company’s sensor modules the DWL5500XY and DWL5800XY, see usage around in the world in a variety of different settings, including tech-savvy factories, research laboratories and government institutions.
The DWL9000XY also assists with CNC ball-screw straightness, XY work-table flatness and vibration measurements. Additionally, it performs real-time data acquisition and logging with USB or wireless Bluetooth connections, enabling analysis from the logged data. This instrument is designed with a very high impact resistance compared to conventional pendulum-based inclinometer. Digi-Pas says the patented DWL9000XY two-axis digital level with advanced MEMS technology effectively replaces old-fashioned single-axis spirit vial levels.
