Standard features of the VMC include a CAT40-taper tool shank; a 25-hp spindle with speeds as high as 12,000 rpm; and a 25-tool ATC with a XYZ travel of 44” x 22” x 22”. Rapid traverse rates for the X and Y axes are 2,362 ipm, with 1,653 ipm on the Z axis.
In the event that repairs are needed, the machine is configured to allow for access to critical components.
