Walter USA has expanded its M4000 milling cutter line with the M4791, a routing cutter capable of plunging in solid material and producing a true flat bottom. The tool is applicable in both lathes and machining centers.
The M4000 milling series is designed such that the same indexable insert (available in TTS and TTG) can be used for all milling cutters. M4791 tools are offered in diameters of 0.75", 1.00", 1.25" and 1.50" with Weldon shanks for secure clamping. A variety of inserts are available with geometries of A57, D51, D57, F57 and G88.
