Shop Floor Automations offers two solutions for wireless shop floor communications and data collection: Predator Wireless DNC and Predator MDC (Manufacturing Data Collection).
听
Predator Wireless DNC is run over an IEE 802.11b wireless Ethernet network consisting of one or more access points that network an existing LAN/WAN to a DNC server. According to the company, this software enables the creation of a full wireless network on the shop floor. Each CNC machine is equipped with device that links to a wireless access point to form a virtual cable. Located in the office or out on the shop floor, the wireless access point directs the NC data to the unique address of each CNC machine.

Predator MDC collects, reports, graphs and processes shopfloor manufacturing data in real time.听The network-based application听is designed to provide accurate shopfloor data so manufacturers can make better decisions. The software can monitor as many as 256 CNCs per PC and provides more than 100 reports and graphs.
