Our clinical partners are:   

• —TriCore is a non-profit clinical lab that serves Â鶹´«Ã½ clinical entitites. Our partnership with TriCore allows for more complex testing and a greater availability of services for our patients.    
• —In 2018, Â鶹´«Ã½ launched a new residency program in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Lovelace Â鶹´«Ã½ Clinic. Our partnership will help meet the need for more rehabilitation providers in New Mexico and offers in-patient rehabilitation services for patients.  
• —First Choice is a local health clinic working with us to provide more primary and preventative care options to Albuquerque communities. By doing so, we’re aiming to prevent overcrowding the Emergency Department.
• —Veterans may receive federal funding to attend academic programs and receive Â鶹´«Ã½ Health medical services. 
• —Our partnership with Genesis HealthCare aims to improve health outcomes as patients transition from the hospital to a post-acute care facility.   

The academics branch supports both the clinical and research work of the following institutions:   

• School of Medicine—Founded over 50 years ago, the SOM houses health professional programs ranging from certifications to medical degrees.   
• College of Nursing—With over 1,000 students enrolled, we’re set on training New Mexico’s newest generation of nurse leaders. The MSN program is in the top 15% nationwide and our nursing-midwifery program is ranked #7.   
• College of Pharmacy—Offers two dual degree programs, five residencies and a pharmacist clinician certification. We are 13th in NIH funding.  
• College of Population Health—The College of Population Health is the second in the US, offering the first Bachelor of Science in Population Health.  
• Â鶹´«Ã½ Health Sciences Rio Rancho Campus—Home to our Behavioral Health Care Clinic, Pre-Health Outreach Program, Health Careers Academy, nursing and medical assistant programs.   
• —Our center is one of only 47 in the US to receive the highest federal designation and rating for cancer centers. This is the only National Cancer Institute-designed cancer center in New Mexico.  
• Â鶹´«Ã½ Health Sciences Library & Informatics Center—HSLIC is partnered across HSC to improve health and health equity across our state through education, research, clinical care, and community engagement.

Research facilities include the Clinical & Translational Sciences Center (CTSC) and the research conducted at the .

The CTSC is a member of the national NIH CTSA Consortium. Our research center hosts teams who work on biostatistics, epidemiology, research design, community engagement, informatics, community health and regulatory support, among others.

At the Comprehensive Cancer Center, ongoing research is focused on cancer therapeutics, epigenetics, genomics, translational cancer biology and more.
